About the Artist
Robert Henry Hunter has been working in the field of commercial & fine arts & design for over 20 years. His work has been on exhibit in Tokyo, Yokohama, Hawaii, Florida, Arizona, California, Korea, Fiji, Samoa, Cook Islands, New Caledonia, Palau, Guam, Washington DC and the Northern Mariana Islands. His commercial work has included design for the United States Postal Service, US Coast Guard, Department of Fish and Wildlife, Public Health, the State of Hawaii, Bank of Guam, American Red Cross, Marianas Visitor's Authority, Kool and the Gang, Commonwealth Health Center, KC and the Sunshine Band, and the American Red Cross..
Robert has served as an assistant to and coordinator of the Public School System Arts Program, as an Art Instructor at the Northern Marianas College, as Public Information Officer for the Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture, as the Executive Director for the Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture, As the Executive Director for the CNMI Museum of History and Culture, as a full-time and freelance artist, as owner and Art Director for Isla Graphics, as a writer and grantwriter, as Vice-Chair of the Consortium for Pacific Arts and Culture, Member of the Pacific Arts Council, and as President of Arts, Inc.
